Returning to a house for another photoshoot isn’t a common experience. It’s a unique opportunity to document it again with fresh eyes.
This happened when I recently shot the cover for HOME magazine April/May 2021. It’s a genuine testament to the design by Mason and Wales Architects that it was like I’d shown up to Closeburn Lodge for the first time!
The issue also features my photography of Mangawhai House, designed by Cheshire Architects. Both ideal picks for the theme of the magazine—Elemental: Houses of this Land—exploring houses borne from the landscape.
