There are photographs you take.
And then there are photographs that wait for you.
This workshop is about the second kind.
Over three days in Brisbane, we will spend time inside a small number of carefully selected houses I have previously photographed. These are not public buildings. They are lived-in, considered pieces of architecture. Places where light has been thought about. Places that reveal themselves slowly. We will meet the architects and home owners.
We will return to them not to replicate images, but to understand how they were made — and more importantly, how they might be seen differently.
